Eleven Charged With Street Gang Terrorism

Eleven suspects are facing charges of street gang terrorism after a February 20
th incident that involved guns and marijuana in Spalding County. The complete news release appears below.

On Monday night 20 February 2012, Sheriff�s Deputies were called to the Amberwood subdivision in reference to shots being fired.�

A description of the vehicles involved in the shooting were given to law enforcement officers and deputies located one vehicle on Cowan Road and the Griffin Police Department located the second vehicle on the N. Expressway near Ellis Road.

The investigation revealed that both vehicles contained bullet holes from the shooting and this was gang related.

A weapon and drugs were found in the vehicles and 11 people were arrested, two being juveniles under the age of 17.�

Because this was gang related and investigators have evidence that proved that, all 11 people were charged with STREET GANG TERRORISM, a law that recently became available to law enforcement who can identify suspects as gang members.

The suspects listed below have been charged with aggravated assault; street gang terrorism; possession of marijuana; and possession w/intent to distribute marijuana.

The other nine suspects have been identified as

Deontvious Dewberry, aka Deon, 18 years old, of Lexington Ave; Gang affiliated with the Ratchet Boys

Tobias Keyundra Parker, 17 years old, of Lexington Ave; Gang affiliated with the Ratchet Boys

Shonderrick Jamall Williams 23, years old, of Jefferson St; Gang affiliated with the Ratchet Boys

Anthony Lamar Parks 19, years old, of W. College St; Gang affiliated with the Ratchet Boys

Two Juveniles charged also affiliated with the Ratchet Boys.

The suspects listed below have been charged with aggravated assault; street gang terrorism:

Khari Miller, 17 years old, of Spring Valley Cir; Gang affiliated with the Southside Gang

Decorius Williams, 17 years old, of N. 9th St; Gang affiliated with the Southside Gang

Jotavious Brownlee, 17 years old, of Chariot Dr; Gang affiliated with the Southside Gang

Darryl Smith 21 years old of Devonshire Dr. Jonesboro, Ga; Gang affiliated with the Southside Gang

Robert Harps 20 years old of Pineview Dr; Gang affiliated with the Southside Gang
