Fire Claims Milner Landmark
Greg S. Williams - July 10, 2012 A fire of undetermined origin claimed the legendary Lighthouse Restaurant late Tuesday afternoon in Milner. Fire and Rescue units from Barnesville, Lamar, Spalding and Pike Counties were summoned to fight the blaze which began in the kitchen area and gradually spread to other areas of the structure. Traffic was diverted from the area by deputies for several hours. Enlarged images appear below.
