Monroe Sheriff Investigates Fatal Accident July 14, 2012 Allison Selman-Willis

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is searching for a pick-up truck thought to be involved in an early morning crash that killed a Roberta man.
The crash occurred around midnight, July 14, 2012, on Hwy 42 South, near mile post five. According to the witness, a light colored pickup truck stopped in front of a motorcycle driven by 51 year-old James Harvey Costlow, causing him to rear-end the pickup. Costlow was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. No other information regarding the pickup is known. This case is under investigation and Monroe County Sheriff J.C. Bittick is asking anyone who has information regarding the crash to contact the Sheriff's Office at 478-994-7048. |
