No Word Yet On Lighthouse Greg S. Williams - July 15, 2012 A spokesman for the Lighthouse Restaurant in Milner said this weekend that family members are still considering their options with regards to rebuilding or relocating the facility after it was destroyed by fire early last week. �The Management and staff of the Lighthouse Restaurant would like to thank everyone who responded to help us last Tuesday evening. The outpouring of love and compassion from the community has been tremendous,� the family said through a statement released to Barnesville Dispatch. According to part owner Stephen Brehaut, the family has not reached a decision on its next move for the business. �I can tell you the two options on the table are whether it is cheaper (for insurance purposes) to keep us on the payroll for the time being while the restaurant is rebuilt, or to refurbish a kitchen in another location such as Backwoods in downtown Milner."
� Brehaut said a point of origin inspection has been completed but�no word has been received on the actual cause of the devastating fire. �It looks like an electrical problem,� he said. |
